Made-in-Germany: Recyclable Technical Textiles
In Germany, awareness of the environmental impact and scarcity of resources is growing, which has prompted the textile industry to increasingly look for sustainable and cycle-orientated solutions for several years now. I will provide an overview of current developments and technologies in the field of sustainable textiles and technologies, taking into account the specific circumstances of the German market. A central focus is on innovative approaches to reducing the ecological footprint of textile products, starting with the extraction of raw materials right through to end use. Circular economy models as well as resource-efficient manufacturing processes and recycling technologies are highlighted.
